My journey into Body Sculpting started with my own insecurities.

After becoming a mum, like so many women, my body changed. I had stubborn cellulite and stretch marks on the backs of my thighs and bum, that no amount of squats seemed to shift, along with loose skin around my belly button and little love handles I thought I just had to accept.

Around eight years later, I was coming out of a difficult chapter in my life. I didn't feel like myself and my confidence was at an all-time low.

That's when I discovered Body Sculpting.

Hardly anyone was offering it in the UK back then, so I was travelling HOURS for treatments. After my first session I saw a difference, my cellulite was smoother, my skin was tighter and my shape was changing. But more importantly, I started feeling like ME again.

At the time I was a makeup artist. I loved makeup and had always had a natural eye for beauty, but Body Sculpting gave me something different. I knew how it felt to change something I'd been insecure about for YEARS, and I wanted to do that for other women.

So in 2019 I completely changed the direction of my career. I trained in body sculpting, it was a 2 day course that only taught you the very basics. I wasn't taught how to do every body area and I certainly wasn't shown how to understand different body types. I was doing make-up and body sculpting. I didn't know what I was doing and I was really unhappy, then Covid came and it felt like the end of my life, but looking back it was a blessing in disguise. It gave me the time I needed. I had a friend living with me, so I took that time to practice, practice, practice, on myself, on her, even on my neighbour. I became obsessed with learning how different bodies respond, I extended the time, I adapted what I was learning into how to achieve the best possible results.

That is how I developed my own techniques, which eventually became the AMY-LUCY TECHNIQUEs™, and later the Amy-Lucy Clinic & Academy Academy, where I now train other practitioners.
